Cycling in the tranquil environment visiting some hidden treasures of the East Iceland nature in midst of the surrounding mountains.
On this bike tour, we take a short hike up to a magical waterfall who runs through a hole in the cliffs. We stop at an old abandoned farm and cycle over an old bridge and last but not least we visit the local church at Heydalir.

Minimum age: 13 years old
Trip difficulty: 3 out of 5 possible, ca. 40km. There is little elevation on the tour but the ride is long and a part of the terrain is a gravel road that can result difficult for inexperienced bikers.
You need to bring: Warm clothes (including gloves and headwear eg. thin hat or buff for warmth under the helmet), good shoes for hiking and cycling, rain gear, shorts, small backpack, water bottle or camel bag.

– This is a challenging tour with a duration of 7-8 hours and should only be joined by those who are accustomed to long bicycle rides.
